Okay, so this is my first entry...I don't know much about this and am trying to figure it out. I decided to get an LJ because some friends of mine have it too and I like the idea of having someplace to express myself and my thoughts, etc.

So...a little about myself: I'm 29 (which I'm kind of freaking about...I HATE getting older), I just got engaged a couple of weeks ago to my amazing boyfriend Travis, I live in Massachusetts and I am a middle-school teacher. I consider myself to be a kind, compassionate, genuine person...I hate judgmental people. I hate attention-seeking people, who seem to develop a new problem or crisis each day. Get over yourself.

I have become more and more outspoken as I've gotten older...although I am still a VERY private person and don't easily trust others. I am a girly-girl, in every sense. I love shopping, I love the color pink, I love to dress up and I'm obsessed with makeup. I love photography and yoga and hanging out with the people I love. I love cats and the beach and summertime and margaritas. I have OCD-like tendencies around neatness, order, and cleanliness. I have TMJ (a jaw disorder), which doesn't sound like a huge deal, but it causes me daily and (sometimes unbearable) headaches and jaw/face pain. I'm mostly easygoing and appreciate the little things in life. I love to meet new people, so if you think we have some things in common, feel free to add me :)
